Ohio’s Labor Force Participation Rate – Pictures of Decline

The number of working age people in Ohio has been steadily increasing since 1999, while the number of people participating in the labor force has been shrinking.  For 2013, Ohio ranked 32nd for labor force participation rate among the states, down from 23rd in 2008.
